I booked my first ever appointment at Alta a few weeks ago after a recommendation from a friend. As soon as i came in i had a 5/5 experience, all the staff were lovely but a special shout to Charmaine who did a T section highlights and cut a blow dry on me. She absolutely perfected the brief and went beyond. She was very attentative and spoke me through each step of the process and let me know what she would and would not recommend based on the inspo pictures i showed her and my hair looked the best it has ever looked!! Cant recommend Charmaine and her talents enough- and the salon as a whole, lovely vibe and staff!!

My recent visit to ALTA Hairdressing was nothing short of a transformative experience, expertly guided by the incredibly talented Charmaine. My hair has been usually dyed dark brown and for a number of years now my grey roots became pretty quickly visible after each new dye application - a cycle I wanted to break. My intention was to lighten my hair with grey highlights to seamlessly blend those tell-tale roots. From the moment I met Charmaine, I knew I was in expert hands. She is fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable. During the colour consultation, she listened to what I was hoping to achieve and clearly explained that lightening my dark hair would be a longer journey, setting realistic expectations and outlining the process with transparency. On the actual day of my appointment, Charmaine had a chat with me again about the whole session ahead, walking me through each step of the process throughout the afternoon and offering valuable advice, including the perfect toner to use. Her lovely character, how she explained things to me and providing reassurance, made me feel completely comfortable and confident in her expertise. The end result is absolutely fantastic! The highlights blend beautifully, already creating a natural, harmonious transition with my own roots – exactly what I had hoped for. Charmaine finished off this incredible transformation with a lovely cut and blowdry, leaving my hair feeling refreshed and looking healthy. Beyond Charmaine's incredible talent, the entire ALTA salon staff contributed to a wonderful experience - special thanks also to Grace for the super-relaxing head massage!! Everyone was lovely, genuinely friendly, and wonderfully down-to-earth, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. I am incredibly grateful for the marvellous work Charmaine has done and definitely recommend ALTA hair salon, and especially Charmaine, to anyone seeking a professional and transformative hair experience.

Had an amazing experience with Mario at Alta! I got a layered haircut on my long hair and a bouncy blow dry — and I absolutely love it. He understood exactly what I wanted and made my hair look and feel incredible. Highly recommend! 💇♀️✨ Update Went back today and I really love the vibe at Alta ! Mario my stylist, is absolutely lovely - always attentive a great listeners, and never tries to oversell anything. Super pleased once again with my hair. See you in December Mario .

I have been coming to Alta Hairdressing for about 1 year- my family would tell me how great it was and eventually decided to change! I haven’t been disappointed! All the ladies are so incredibly friendly, you feel at home when you walk in! Charmaine has recently been doing my colour as I decided to go lighter and she has been beyond amazing! She’s an utter delight and extremely knowledgeable, she cares so much and puts so much time and effort into everything she does! Cannot recommend the salon and staff enough!
